GTA VI is Rockstar Games' most anticipated title in over a decade, set in the fictional state of Leonida (inspired by Florida) and its neon-lit heart, Vice City. For the first time in the modern series, the game features two playable protagonists: Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos — a criminal couple whose story is openly inspired by Bonnie and Clyde. Rockstar describes Jason as someone who wants an easy life but keeps getting dragged into harder circumstances — he grew up around criminals, spent time in the Army, and later worked with drug runners in the Keys. The pair's story becomes entangled in a sprawling conspiracy across Leonida. Rockstar has already named locations including Leonida Keys, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, Grassrivers, and Mount Kalaga National Park — spanning beaches, swampland, small towns, and wilderness. IMPORTANT NOTE: GTA VI is currently confirmed ONLY for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, launching November 19, 2026. Rockstar has NOT announced any PC release date. Based on the studio's history with GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, a PC version is expected roughly 1-2 years after the console launch (GTA V arrived on PC about 18 months after its original PS3/Xbox 360 release). For that reason, we cannot provide any PC system requirements or FPS estimate on this page — doing so would be pure speculation. We'll update this page with real data once a PC version is officially announced.
